ParticipantHi, Had a look at this machine today and it will only fill for a few seconds before moving on. The drum will turn and carry on.
I’ve checked inlet valves, heater, cleaned pressure vessel and anything else that i could think of, but will still only fill for a few seconds? It’s not taking in enough water to activate the pressure switch. There is no flashing lights that suggests a fault code? Checked pressure switch too and that seems fine?
suggestions as to why it’s doing this ,would be most appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for your replies.
Yes, it does seem to behave as though the water is at the correct level, but i don’t think it is actualy heating?
I don’t think there is a breather hose from the dispenser to the tub?
Thanks again.

I have got one doing the same about 9 yrs old….. its my own 😳
First notice the fault when the wife said its not rinsing properly :rolls:
Pump was noisy so first point stuck a new pump, cleaned out all breather hoses waste, pressure chamber etc gave it a bit of an overhall. Looked quite tidy for its age, no shorts heating ok etc
Even changed the brushes while it was in bits.
Knew the valves were ok filled on every stage. The problem was it would only fill on any wash program for a few seconds even the secondary fill after agitation was about 2 seconds.
Even changed the pressure switch as a last result :rolls:
Found out for a while the wife was filling by hand just to top the wash water up!!
I even watched it through the whole wash program (sad i know)
When it got to the rinse program it would again not fill to the rinse levels,Yet put it on a rinse only it would fill to correct level half way up door 😕
The only conclusion is a PCb fault cannot find anything else.
Its on the side line at the moment until i can be bothered to find the fault.
Got my self an ISE10 now 😉

Thankyou for your replies. The customer phoned this morning and said it’s working fine again??
The only thing i didn’t check was the brushes. Maybe a pcb fault? If anyone knows the answer to this problem i would pleased to hear from you. I have a feeling it wont be the last i hear of this one.
Many thanks.
