If you are using only a fraction of the powder and you are still seeing suds climb the door then too much may have been used before.

It could be worth putting no clothes or powder in and running a couple of 90 degree cycles. If suds continue to be seen then that settles the argument, the machine has been overdosed at some stage of it ‘s short life.

If the water is clear and you can see water on the door glass when it’s agitating then yes it is probably up to spec.

Sadly the WAB24161GB is a budget end machine which we normally as an independent retailer sell at £249.00. The marketing boys at Currys created this fantastic deal by probably having it in one store for 28 days prior the reduction price to make it sound like a good deal which isn’t always the case. As has already been said the standard Boch machines do have the Aqua plus option which is for those whose skin is sensitive.

If you are going to replace then look for Bosch with Aqua Plus or some brands which have an extra rinse facility like some of the Hotpoint’s.
