Bosch Classixx Vario Perfect – WAE28166GB

The machine tripped the RCD whilst running a cycle. Since then it will not start any programs.

When pressing start the buttons light turns solid (as it should) but the machine does nothing else. At this point it should start drawing water in.

No flashing error lights/codes (this model does not have a digital display)
Door switch has been swapped out – no change
Water inlet has been disconnected and has good water flow

Any one having guidance on which areas i should be checking next?
    Pressure switch?
    Inlet valve?
    Drain pump?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Dave
Is this the PCB user interface board? Are you aware how many PCBs there are on this machine?
    Thanks

You were right, something has blown as there is a clear visible burn mark on the white plastic (near the round dial area).
    Two PCBs.
    1. Large PCB where i can see a burn mark on the board
    2. User input PCB which controls the buttons on the front face

Is it a simple case of replacing the board with a like for like?
I took photos however the site will not let me upload as my upload limit is too low.

    .

    wish it was that simple
boards dont blow for no reason, another component in the machine has popped it. the chances are if you replace the board it will destroy that too

to post pics , host pics on another site like google pics and post a public link

the area where the damage is appears to be coming from the 3 pin type connector with the grey wires. I will chase back to see which component it is connected to.
