Have a bosch wm here in the workshop, 1 yr amd 6 months old. The ENR is WAQ24461gb/14.

The customet complaint is that when she presses start button it just beeps twice and doesnt do anything. I changed the do lock to no joy. Tried the reset procedure but no fault code came up and now its showing 1 min on every cycle you select, (before the reset procedure it gave the time of each cycle)

    Is this a PCB problem?

I take it you have deactivated the Child Lock? (Press and hold start button for 5 secs)

You replied as i was about to write this Martin, God dam child lock is right!! Even the simplest of things catches us out.

She has no kids, it was her dog putting it on. Should be a feature on the machine called dog lock

Just intrigued as to why you had it in your workshop in the first place as it’s still under the Bosch two year warranty.

Mind you just as well you did as Bosch would have charged her big time for deactivating the child lock.

Another hunch to put forward here is that perhaps neither Richard or his customer were aware of the warranty period.

Less of your arrogance Martin its insulting!! it was only when i went out to the machine that i noticed that it was only a 1yr and a half old! And if it was a PCB problem i was advicing her to get bosch engineer out to fix it.

And as its a local regular customer, they prefer to get local engineers out rather then paying for the bosch engineer!

Sorry you feel that way Richard. Dragging machine into the workshop is hardly an effective way of dealing with a 18mth old machine that beeps every time you try to set a programme. Having advised your customer it was under warranty and the responsibility of BSH to sort it. Far better to walk away, seek advice (you did that) then phone your customer to advise what should be done next, either to get BSH in or (in this case) press the on/off button!
