    yes if board power supply failed it would be dead

    Thank for your reply in your experience Dave what usually are the components that causes failure in both wash and spin would the tryic cause this failure is there a separate wireing harness supplying power into to the board. To control the motor and is there a fuse in the board that protect the motor thanks fasetester

    Any BSH engineer could only guess at what fails on the control board. They only change the board and don’t get down to component replacement or testing. If it don’t work they throw one in and cross fingers.

    As to what can cause no power to the motor then it’s either a relay, triac, capacitor or resister failing. The more likely of those is the relay.

    Thank Martin for your reply is their some washing machines will not turn tub unless the have a load .

    Does this apply to Bosch machines fasetester

    tub will turn regardless of load

    fault could be
    motor
    wiring harness

    pcb faults :- triac, relays, main computer chip or blown tracks

    No Tim just trying to improve my strike rate on pcb repairs if you want to gain more knowledge ask questions

    Can’t find a fault like a short that would have damaged the PCB thank again for all the replys .
