Replaced brushes on this machine recently

Has the old fashioned brush ring arrangement so had to shorten a pair of bosch brushes and solder them on as i could not source the older brush ring assembly.

Made sure the brushes are well bedded in with comm stick cleaner and got a low ohm reading 4.7

Problem is the spin is unsatisfactory.

Machine been used about a dozen times since repair and works fine and the spin gets up to speed but only for a few seconds, it then slows down, distributes and tries again, gets up to speed and slows down repeat

Could this be down to needing a brush ring or likely module or timer fault?

The model and fd are worn off on the door frame unfortunatly

This type has the xo to reset the program if that helps id it

You’ll need to drag the machine out again and give us the model number stamped on the label at the back.

Motor does sound like the issue here though. If the Megger reading is below 100meg that would make the electronics go well ‘fuzzy!’….. 😉
