Got a report of this Bosch not heating according to customer.

on a cotton 40 wash timer skips from 104 to 47 mins, then completes as normal.

    Any ideas much appreciated

Seem to remember something similar on another WFO series. IIRC it was, tripping when heater kicked in. When I got to it, confirmed the heater was the culprit. Fitted new heater and it kept jumping time at the heating stage similar to your description and also not heating. Customer admitted she kept on trying machine despite it tripping everytime. So presume she damamged the pcb but she didn’t want to take it any further do couldn’t confirm it. May/may not help you – could be heater and pcb repair/replacment. HTH

    Thanks for that

I suppose low insulation is a definite maybe for this kind of fault.

Suggest search using, “Bosch AND skips”. Should bring up one or two relevant threads. Most of them seem to skip around the last few minutes and this has been solved in some cases by stripping down and cleaning the motor. In your case perhaps it’s a low insulation heater. Hard water?
