Bosch Washing Machine WAE digital Fault Code E6

Hi, My Bosch washing machine will not pump out / drain the water after wash cycle & is showing E6 in the display. Thus far (before finding you guys)I have drained the water out, checked the main motor brushes, cleaned out a very clogged outlet from the pump, all to no avail. All help & advice greatly appreciated.
(Machine data is WAE 24260GB11, FD8612053626, WCM41.

Check and double check the drain hose outlet, the pump and the sump hose to the drain filter. You’ve got a blockage there somewhere. If there is any lateral movement with the pump Impellor then the pump is clapped and needs replacing. One or all of the above will sort the E6 error. 😉

And, further to Martin’s sound advice, the unashamed plug is that there are two drain pumps available for that machine…

Thanks fellas, I will check it all out, & get back to you – the pump impellor feelt really bizzare & very wobbly when I had a look at it – guess this may be the culprit, but I will let you know Tmoz. Have to get it fixed pronto as we are already knee deep in dirty washing!

Fitted the new pump which turned up from whitegoods today, It all works – thanks to you all the washing mountain is now slowly subsiding.
