My Bosch washing machine model WIS24140GB works flawlessly, but at the end of the cycle (any cycle) and just before the door unlocks it flashes an error and beeps.

The error is flashing the 400, Rinse, Spin and End LEDs. The door then unlocks. The cycle runs normally.

I’ve searched and not found any reference to this set of error LEDs on this or other sites.

    The heating element works fine.
There is no water under the drum.
I have checked the filter and it is not blocked
The water inlet is clear and mains pressure is good
    The drain is clear
    Washes normally, spins smoothly

The machine is about five years old but sees little use – about two loads a week. Inside looks brand new including motor and drive belt (removed the back to see if something had come adrift since I had to pull it out to check the inlet).

    Bit of a mystery!

The “manual” does not list this code.

    Your pressure switch is faulty

    Thanks for that

    Would that be this item?

I assume replacement will require rear, top and front off?

    Thanks again

Many thanks – may just live with it as otherwise it works fine. Just got it all back in place 🙂
