having problem with parts on this machine

have a care provider that has broken the outer perspex glass of this machine
checked website part obsolete but say see parts bulletin to which i have no access
rang BSH they gave me a part no of 680865 which does not fit this machine ( although i could fit by cutting 1 lug off and using silicone to hold it in )

this machine is around 2 years old I cannot believe they are allowed to make a part obsolete on a machine this young. parts are very expensive door glass cost me £57 + vat from Qualtex the whole outer door was £180 ( but obsolete so not avail)
this machine is made in the states and if it is a partnership with bosch like white knight was there may be other sources
anyone any info on this

I don’t like to admit defeat but I have been beaten as well I’m afraid.

You could try sending a PM to user nomadpaul he might be able to help 😉 failing that then you may have to adapt the one you have.

i did ask them what they would do if it was under guarentee and all i got was ” we would have to find one ”

i am just gobsmacked that a big firm like Bosch with their reputation can do this
