Bosch Wdrier. WVD24520GB/08. FD 9102 pump run and abort.

Hi. This washer dryer. You turn the selector after about 15 seconds pump starts to run without pressing start. If you press start pump runs for a couple of minutes then unlocks door and aborts programme. Heaters ok continuity and insulation. Occasionally customer got to start then completes program. Looks like pcb? Haven’t had brushes out do these throw an f21?

don’t forget bosch don’t make this one as far as I know, so have you checked brushes?

Thanks Dave. No I haven’t, although it has worked when they’ve got it to start. Mind you he told me before I left a new McDonald’s built round corner, drawing too much power and the supply voltage to the house all over the shop. They had electrician in. Just wondering if there’s been any transient spikes that’s done some damage to board.

if the electric was that bad I would have expected other electronics would have had problems but yes it is possible

but its also possible the brushes make and break so work sometimes

cant hurt to check
