ParticipantHi folks
Not sure if I’m missing something here. “1 min left to go syndrome” !!
Door locks up but door lock symbol flashing with m/c stuck on 1 min.
1st thing I did was check m/c, motor and both heaters for earth faults but found none – every thing testing clear. Slight movement on needle on motor brush circuit but nothing I would class as a problem (about 1/8 ” on a 6″ dial) but nothing else.
Anything else worth checking on this that might be causing the problem?
No fault codes but display momentary displays a X then a + before just flashing door lock and 1 min on count down. Had door lock off and checked that and no sign of burning connectors.
Bit stumped to where to go on this other than pcb problem but feel it’s unlikely
All help greatly appreciated.

I think you might find that that’s a child lock, not door lock light. Can’t remember how you reset on those. It’s different to the washing machines, on those you just hold the start button down. If you do a search on here I’m sure someone’s had that before. Check that model no. too, I think it’s wvd, not wdv.Wiz

Thanks for the reply Wiz
Been back today after a quick search for Bosch + child lock found a link and Hey Presto you was right.
Turned dial till door lock light stopped flashing and pressed the clock button for 5 secs and it all cleared.
M/c in accommodation for people with visual impairment and although they have all the most used buttons with “feel” markers it looks like someone was trying to dry stuff and pressed the clock button by mistake which was next to the dry button. Beats me why Bosch have made it so difficult to tell that’s whats been activated and so precise to reset. :rolls: . One to remember though incase I come across it again.
Anyway job done and many thanks for the help.
Oh, yes you were right about the model No. – have changed it on the post 😳
