These will fit motors with sleeves.
These will fit the ones with the brushes mounted internally.

I wouldn’t rush out and get brushes and/or motor end frame if I were you on this fault. 😉

Now, going back to what you said for a minute here, the motor tumbles OK, yes or no? You said it does 😉

    Therefore, the brushes are OK!

Next step, is the pressure/air bell clear? Is the heater element OK? If both are YES! Then I suspect the main power module is the culprit? In fact from here right now I’m certain that’s your problem. Unless you can come up different?

    HTH?

It has all the symptoms of low/worn motor brushes TBH Martin.
Low voltage drive on tumble so no problems, but when getting to spin (more voltage required) if they are low they just don’t have enough meat on them to get the job done.
Best thing for OP is to remove end fram and check length of brushes (app 1.5″ from new ans a gauge)

I would have to agree as brushes/condition of armature being the first check.
Sometimes I have had dry solder joints around the motor relays at the power module on these over the years.
Could also be the pressure switch as they are electronic on some of these.
    Hope that helps 😉
