    It will spin after I have emptied through the small hose at the front, but there is no sound of the pump working.

    The pump is possibly jammed or faulty, unplug from mains b4 inspecting.

    Sometimes the pump oscillates and will not rotate until I drain the washer and move it round through the filter. Is there a starter capacitor that needs replacing?

    With the machine turned off………
    Remove filter. Put finger on centre boss of impellor and wiggle from side to side. Any discernable movement means that the magnetic armature has worn the plastic pump housing and the pump must be replaced. There is no start capacitor required for a magnetic motor.

    Full Enr number required to identify correct pump (check inside of door).
