Bosch WF02464GB Drum Bearing replacement – how difficult?

Judging from the noise on wash and spin, I’m pretty sure the drum bearings have gone on our Bosch Exxel 1200. I was wondeing how difficult a bearing replacement job was e.g drum out of machine, typical number of hours needed etc.
I am familiar with replacing wheel bearings on cars / m/cycles etc and have a decent selection of tools but wouldn’t want to buy special tools etc.

Well it is possible but not easy……
Complete tub will have to come out and then the tub splits

Bearing set and seal likely about £40 and a day of your time.
You are also taking a chance that the machine has not suffered
other damage.

Probably not worth it in the long run.

Thanks for the reply. You’ve confirmed what I suspected really. A lot of work and hassle on a machine thats had a lot of use.
