Replaced brushes on machine and worked great for about 20 washes. Now when it reaches spin cycle – 11minutes on display – it works till 9 mins then jumps to 1 minutes and ends. It has not spun out. Any ideas please

Does it pump out the water?.

Are there any lights flashing on the fascia?.

One of the brushes most likely has overheated and is sticking in its housing 😉

took out the brushes last night to check in case they were sticking, replaced them and still the same result with the spinning

    Thanks

    Hi

The machine runs fine with the drum turning etc right up to this point.

    Thanks

Did you buy genuine Bosch brushes? 😕

    Re: Bosch WF02864

I bought the brushes from UK white goods but they are probably not genuine spares

    :eeek:

When an qualified engineer changes the brushes, he/she will do a few things to make sure those brushes last; like, cleaning the armature, and cleaning the carbon disposits off the PCB, especially the little heat-sink, as this could cause a short circuit on the PCB, and lead to a dodgy motor as you describe 🙁
