Bosch WFB1605GB/12

Looked on the BSH Quickfinder site for either drum bearing kit or bearing seal but I can only find the bearing cross, part number 283725. Bearings are 6204 & 6205, seal is 30-52/62. If I can only buy the complete bearing housing the machine is not worth repairing so does anyone offer a bearing kit or seal for these machines?

Nope, I had the same problem last year with one, the seal was a different size though.

The closest I can come up with is from Maddocks which is 30 X 52/65 X 10/15

The “65” being the outer lip which seals the spider to the drum, it should fit I reckon as it’s only 3mm larger in diameter.

Their part number is 54-ZN-16 priced at the almighty 59p, gotta be worth a shot 😉

Many thanks, I will give them a ring. Sounds a bit better than £93.26 for the bearing cross. 🙂

How do you make a bearing cross? Smack it a few times with a dirty great lump hammer :clown:

Just had a call in for bearings on a WFB4001GB/01. Not done one before – does the bearing spider remove through the back panel or does the tub have to be taken out?
