ParticipantYes it’s cracking on but it’s served us well until now. It’s fully integrated with a right hinged door and its location means a new one would be a pain as they’re all hinged on the left now.
It’s shaking violently on initial spin but does generally sort itself out. I’m reasonably practical (I’ve twice had the motor off to replace the brushes) but a bit nervous about attempting this as if it goes wrong I’m pretty stuffed. Has anyone done the dampers on this machine, or one of its siblings?

have not got enr number complete but from what I have got you have a metal tub which makes life very easy
remove front from machine and shock are held in with 13 mm bolts. undo bolts replace and replace and tighten. all can be done without removing machine from unit
if you had a plastic tub it would mean drilling out the old shock from the tub and therefore more room for error
done a few of these only problem you may have is some of the bolts can be tough to undo. the one on the chassis is ok just apply more pressure but if you put too much pressure on the tub ones you could bend the metal.

The good news is it’s a metal tub on this one. A pair of shockers at 26quid each (part no’s 00118869) and they unbolt and bolt back in easily.

Thanks both.
electrofix: I’ve got a label with the enr: WFE2021GB /01 FD 8001 03010
I didn’t realise the front came off to be honest. I’ve searched but can’t find a manual (if such things exist) and nothing like it on YouTube. If it comes off, is it reasonably straightforward? I guess getting everything back is the tricky bit!

Thanks Dave,
Appreciate I’ll have to release the door seal and lock catch. Beyond that I found two screws underneath the bottom edge of the front panel.
Is there any more to it than that? Videos for other machines show the switch panel being taken off but if it can be done without pulling the machine out then I guess you think that’s not needed – does the front panel just slot under the switch panel?
I was hoping the diagram would be one of those with dotted lines that show where everything goes!

Thanks again – I’ve seen a YouTube video an non-integrated Bosch having the front removed and that had the tab there too.
I’ll get the dampers ordered off here and give it a go!

All done – thanks for advice.
Front came off really easily – there is a tag at top held by the bottom right drawer screw. Was a bit bemused that the opening was almost completely filled by the drum and a ring of concrete but the plinth releases easily with 6 screws and then it’s possible to get at the lower damper bolts
The lower left damper bolt was awkward with the motor in the way of my ratchet but it undid OK with spanner. I put the bolts back with a bit of thread-lock on.
