Repaired a Bosch integrated WM WFE2021 a month ago. One of the top springs had broken, tub shorted against pump wires. It has been working fine since, new spring, wire fixed.

Now i cannot program the machine. If you put the dial on X and press start, the 3 neons cycle to show reset. But if you try to do a wash it starts on a rinse. The motor and pump are working. I tried to get it onto a spin, it drained then counted from 14 to 1 min and stuck on 1, no spin The short wash and high water lights keep coming on all the time.
Any ideas before i quote for a pcb?

Thanks, not had one of these with prog problems.

No real clues for you but quoting for a new PCB will surely make it a write off? The PCB’s tend to get blown tracks (that can be solder link repaired OK) due to motor troubles. I would suspect motor probs and a close look at the tracks on the PCB 😉

NOT TOO SURE. BUT HAVE HAD ONE GO TO 1 MIN BEFORE DURING A DRY CYCLE. THINK THIS IS TO TELL YOU ITS DETECTED A FAULT. IN THE CASE I HAD IT WAS AN NTC FAULTY. BUT AGREE WITH MARTIN SOUNDS LIKE A MOTOR FAULT

Alot of the bosch appliances do a quick self test when they first switch on and I have had quite a few where the ntc can cause this fault as well as the motor. Worth checking both if this is one that uses self test. Also as Martin says check the pcb as most of the time you can repair. 😯

The customer has purchased a new machine. Thanks for your help.
Unknown to me it had gone wrong 4 times in the last 2 years, twice for motor brushes. So pos a motor fault, i had it washing but not spinning.
