Hi we have a customer who has a Bosch integrated washer ENR no. WFE2021GB/01.

Timer countdown display shows random times left on cycle ie 60 deg wash 154 mins, 30 deg wash 154 mins left. Spin only cycle progs times are correct. Machine completes cycle fine and wash results are okay too.

We are assuming faulty module? Any ideas anyone?

Wash times will always vary at the start off point as it depends on load sensing anyway. These older machines don’t usually have probs with the ‘Fuzzy Logic’ board as a rule (brick out-house springs to mind) 😉

I would nevertheless get in there, check the usual (heater, motor, air bell etc) just to be sure?….Module at fault?….very much doubt it after all it finishes the cycle OK. 🙂

i had one of these machines doing the exact same.(did’nt have a clue 😕 ) so i changed motor brushes, cleaned all carbon deposits away, made sure all earth connections were ok, switched on, everything worked great 8) not sure if that was the correct solution ❓ but that was 3 months ago,and she has’nt called back yet……….

Had one of thase today giving strange faults.
Keeps stopping during wash customer presses start button and it carries on for a while. I checked it on spin and it did the first part fine, got to 4 minutes and quickly changed to 1 minute.
Meggered the heater and motor, both well ok. Checked carbons, loads on them.
    Could ntc cause this one?
