My Bosch WFF 2000 intermittently ends up with the prewash indicator lamp flashing and the drum full of water. I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain, but I think the program dial gets to the end. When this happens (as per the advise in the user manual) I drain the machine manually and check the pump for blockages. The first time I did this there was a blockage, but subsequent times the pump has not been blocked. The thing is though, after go through this procedure the washing machine then starts working again for several weeks until the next time the fault develops. Any ideas anyone?

It’ll be an old, tired pump by now. Best get yourself one of THESE.
Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

Thanks for that. I’ll probably get someone to do it, but out of interest, how would I go about doing it myself?

Taking the front off gives complete access. Three screws for the panel, two to free the door lock, then slip the spring band for the door seal and all is revealed.
Unplug first….

The pump is steadily getting worse, so I’m going to order a new one and get the job done over the weekend. A quick question though, for the 2 screws either side of the front door, presumably when I remove these, the door lock and hinge mechanisms wont fall apart and require fiddly re-alignment to get them back together again right?

Just release the two for the door lock. It’s very straightforward to put back once the panel goes back on.

The complete part number on the washing machine door is a bit worn, but it looks like WFF2000GB/11. The pump you indicated is compatible with the WFF2000GB/12, but there’s no mention of the WFF2000GB/11. ❓

After putting the door seal back, I notice there are a couple of holes in the bottom (I don’t think I made them). Are these drain holes? Also, while the washing machine is running, is it normal for them to drip a little water into the base of the washing machine?

They just allow any water lying in the door seal to drain down into the drum.

I have the same problem, I thought it was the program, so maybe thats not it after all …help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I am now in Australia & with me is my beloved bosch wff2000.
