    Hello there!

I am new to this forum and have a question about my washing machine. Yesterday it started to make the most hideous clunking noise about 20-30 mins into the cycle, possibly when the spin/pump program part began, and it seemed to be coming from the bottom left area of the machine.

I have lifted the lid off of the machine, but cannot see what it could be. Does anyone know what could have happened? Maybe a loose nut or bolt? I am a complete novis, but would like to fix it myself, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.

    Many Thanks,

    Vicky
ps: Maybe I could take off the back panel of the machine, is this possible?

it seemed to be coming from the bottom left

As you look at the machine can you something at the bottom left?

I think you’ll find your pump behind a plastic cover.

Probably pump or blockage in the pump.

Unplug machine, towels down to protect the floor and have a look. Make sure the drum is empty of water first!!!

    Hi Tim!

Thanks very much for your reply! I will try this as soon as the current cycle has finished 🙂

Thanks again for your advice, and I’ll post back with whatever I can find 🙂

On a side note (to Moderators/Admin); I was trying earlier to log into my account but noticed that I was denied. And my original post seems to have been deleted too! Did I do anything wrong?
