    Model WFF1401GB/01. Brushes shot but it had arced across the comm and taken out the overload.

    I had a good motor with me but that will not run either. I am guessing that it has taken out the control unit but was pushed for time so didn’t get chance to take a closer look.

    Is it possible to repair the damage on these units, it is very easy on the Hotpoint hybrid control unit to repair the tracks after a similar fault, I have a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} success rate with them.

    Or is more likely to have suffered component damage?

    Very similar to Hotpoint wm series Jim. Done them myself – good success rate.
