Depends how knackered the bearings are.
The bearing kit is p/no 093907 £53 +VAT, job is a doddle.
Back off,motor off,pulley off remove bolts around rear bearing, remove 3 bolts of tri-piece and furckle it off.
Belt the old bearings out and new uns in.
Just depends if drum has been damaged by prolonged use whilst noisey, it may need replacing p/no 233132 £149.35 +VAT if they unlucky.
At the end of the day its 9yrs old so let them decide, oh and I would do the brushes aswell as a good measure if they go with it p/no 154740 £19.40 +VAT.

EDIT. Just phoned him and he says inner drum is flopping all over the place so we both agreed it was best laid to rest.
