Cycle finishes with wet washing and error code. So I select the Easycare spin program. The drain pump runs then the program clicks slowly to the end without spinning. The pre wash light flashes error code 4 (four flashes – wait – four flashes etc). The full E-NR of my Bosch WFF 2000 Washer is WFF2000GB/12 FD7703 05257. Any ideas what this means? Brushes?

Earlier today I de-sludged the clear plastic box that sits just in front of the drain pipe. I’m thinking this is just a co-incidence because it completed a full wash and spin OK straight afterwards.

    Many thanks. Warwick.

    Hi
I would start by checking the motor brushes for wear 😉
Un-plug appliance if you are to have a go :plug:

Machine was made in March ’97, so it’s more or less got to be due a set of brushes by now.

These are the ones that fit your machine:

offers some good insight into what is involved.

    Power off, if investigating.
