One of those customers who whatever is wrong with the old machine has a reletive with a washer in the garage. This is one of them :rolls: .
Called out after they swapped it drain pump rattling like mad. Changed pump, tests ok.
Now complains of no spin. Hols tomorrow so I had a quick look this evening, when put on spin advances to the end of the spin programme immediately, pump goes for about ten seconds machine continues to tumbl for 30 seconds then switches off.
When I moved the programme selector to the x position, the indicator knob just rotates forever. No prewash light up. 😕Any ideas, going back after hols.

Timer/pcb unit. They’ll never pay for that. Forget it, enjoy holiday.

Crudded up air chamber and earth leak on heater will give these symptoms. 😉

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh scarbrough have fond memories of that place for a couple of reasons one I got engaged to the wife up there and two it has the best scary house amusement in the world.Enjoy your holiday .If you see someone running out of a shop front screaming.Pay the couple of quid to go in its worth every penny. 😆
