    I think that the bearings have gone in the motor on my washing machine. It was making a grinding noise when the drum turned. I searched for a bra wire, but no sign. Opened up the machine removed the belt and discovered that it was the motor making the noise rather than the drum.

    I removed the motor, took out the brushes which were very worn and the motor is still making a grinding noise when I turn it. I assume that this requires a new motor, but can’t see one in your shop. Do you supply one? or do you know where I can find one online?

    We could supply you with one via emailing the full model number (ENR number) to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

    Please bear in mind the cost is over £165 for one though 🙁

    If it has GB/ 1,11,12,14 after main model number then it has the same motor namely 141344 approx £140 +Vat.
    Use spares link on my signature below to order.
    Power off as always when undetaking any repair :plug:
