First post. Machine is 21 years old. One paddle lifter is beginning to fragment in one fenestrated area. I have obtained a replacement lifter, but cannot discern how to release the drum tab. There are no holes for screwdrivers, and I cannot insert any thin metal object between the drum and the paddle lifter. This may have been asked many times, but cannot find instructions specific to this model.

The drum needs to be removed to fit those lifters. There is no other way. 🙁

I take it the procedure is to
remove front
remove weight
remove drum and undo marginal wire clips at front of drum assembly to remove inner drum and reveal whatever fasteners are used.No doubt there is a seal on the outer drum opening which will need to be replaced, if still manufactured.
Do you recall the nature of the fittings holding the lifters in place?

It is held in place by the drum spigot fixing bolt and triangular washer (see drawing)
