Bosch WFF2000GB

Hi my Bosch washing machine is filling up during the rinse but the water is not stopping. I switched off the machine but it still continued to fill. The only way i could stop i t filling was to switch off the main water supply. any idea what might be wrong with it before i call bosch? thanks
