This machine was overfilling. Found the problem was the double inlet valve not shutting off when the power was removed. I replaced the valve and tested it shut off OK.

Call back to the machine, the customer says the machine now takes in hardly any water.

Run a couple of tests with a small load, it appears on a wash the drum fills to about an inch above the bottom of the inner drum and on a rinse the drum fills to the front edge of the drum.

The customer says this used to take in more than this.

Can anyone confirm where the water should fill to on this model?

The water level appears spot on to me. It will fill to a higher level on woollens and has a higher water level switch for rinses IIRC 😉

We,ve got one of these machines and it’s on at the minute. With a mixed load, including a couple of towels, on a 40 cotton wash, it’s currently sitting about 1 inch above the bottom of the door glass. That’s during the wash phase btw. Hopefully not still here by the time it gets to rinse!

That’s about where the customer said it used to be!

If it is under filling, then check that the rear of the dispenser to tank hose (not soap hose) and inside rear of the dispenser in not gunged up.
    🙂

Went back and took another look, the vent hose in the top of the tub is clear.
