Had a regular problem of not pumping, usually cured with a drain amd a good clean out.

just had the same symptoms but can’t seem to make a difference. pump is ok as it works for the majority of the time.

Ran a wash, cycle stopped at the first pump out. I’ve drained from the black tube at the bottom but water is still in the drum. Is it likely to be the large ball valve on the bottom of the drum? if so, it is another cleaning job or are there more complicated pressure issues?

    Cheers!

    Hi
When you say stopped at the first pump out, does it make the usual pump noise or a low hum?

Low hum, i think the pump is spinning but because the valve is closed the vacuum must be stopping anything moving.

Sounds to me like its either jammed or too weak to turn 😀
