Motor stuggles to turn under load. Runs ok with belt removed. The drum is free and the motor brushes are ok. Is this a motor problem. I am able to carry out any checks with complete safety.

Can be motor, can be electronics. If the brushes are below 10mm, they’re finished and need replacing – the spring is extended and may not exert sufficient pressure to ensure a clean contact on the armature. If the motor struggles to wash but will spin (not at full speed), the motor will definitely be at fault. If there are any clicking noises as the motor turns, it’s blown, similarly if it goes “Ong” before turning.

Expert or not, power off before sticking fingers in.

Thanks for the help. I will try to source a new motor asap, as the washing is building up very quickly.

If you post the complete model no.(label on inside of door) and you`re 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure the motor is faulty then I`m sure the shop@ on this site can supply you with said motor.
If you are going ahead yourself then power off of course :zap:
