Bosch WFF2001 Washing machine will not start most programs

Hi

I have a Bosch WF2001, which has been working fine for years. Now it will not start a program. I can hear water enter the machine, lots of lights come on but the machine will not start most programs.

The only way for it to start is to select wool cycle start, then turn to cotton then again wool then again cotton for it to work.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Sorry, I am not tehcnical. Is this a valve on the washing machine or just the connection from the hot water supply to the washing machine (which could be blocked – i.e. no hot water getting in?

If a part of the washing machine how easy is it to change?

You need to check out the valve as I said earlier. Yes it is in the machine and connected directly by the hot feed pipe. Assuming it is faulty you will find it a doddle to replace.
