Bosch WFG2020/GB01

    can anyone give me some advice, customer tells me it washes in cold water, not heating but completes cycle, I thought a bosch wouldnt advance if stat dosent sence heater. I could be wrong…does anyone know for sure before I call to look.

    Most machines these days tend to complete cycles after a given time. Gone are the days of waiting for a stat to close/open.

    Hi
    Depending on what wash she uses, she may not feel heat as the water is lower than the glass until the rinse cycle.
    If there was a heating problem, a fault lamp sequence would become apparent, namely “Ready” and “Active ” lamps would be flashing and the machine would continue the cycle as normal (in cold water) till the end.

    You are welcome John,
    Best way to tell if machines are heating is to use a clamp meter on either the L or N wire. I have often used this method to prove to customers that their machine is heating after they have sworn it isnt as the glass didnt feel hot.
