cant get a new solenoid before monday now, and cust wants (“needs”) to do a couple of washes of school clothes, weekend sports kit, and bedding. tomorrow is her normal wash day…

bsh list spare 177286 as the original (currently not superseeded) part. It seems its a solenoid specific to the wfg range, as ive got a couple of spare 428210 (171261 – wfl/wfo) and a spare 265772 (086311 – wff/wfk)

just wondered if the wfl/wfo valve would work, or if it would blow the pcb or cause other issues?

machine is 11 years old and rust is starting to show its age, so cust is looking into replacing year or so down the road, if it lasts that long, but says they cant afford a new one… i just really dont want to have to go down route of loan machine (2 flights of stairs) 🙁

Virtually the same IIRC? Double check on the plug-in connector terminals mind you. 😉

it seems to have worked, as i havent heard anything so far this weekend… terminals seem to tie up but have had to have it fitted upside down, seems the orientation is the main differential as they share same specs on the coils.
