    Cust complaint – machine blows trip when turned on but for the last 2 weeks previous it has been showing 1 min on display at end of cycle then unlocking door as normal
    any ideas before I call ?

    Could very well be the brushes Lawrence, had one do just that, however the armature was so bad it needed a new motor. Incidentaly, you can often hear if the armature is about to let go by turning the drum by hand…listen for the tell tale clicking of the commutator segment thats about to blow 😉

    Definately armature shot, especially if it is the earlier ‘GB/01’ version as some were fitted with FHP type motor 😉
