Bosch WFK 2801 not emptying

the above washing machine will not empty putting fault 03 on panel ive had it in bits cleared all discharge pipework from drum to sink u bend everything is clear but it still wont empty drained it manually took pump screw out cover out pump is rotating but if i put my finger in centre of impeller it stops and wont go again till i flick it (sore finger end to prove it). Ive priced a new pump unit up but dont want that amount if its not going to solve it. any help or advice would be gratefully welcomed.

Yes, you do need a new pump:
