Bosch WFK2201:re-fills after wash cyle complete

My In-laws Bosch WFK2201 washing machine has developed a fault whereby after the wash cycle has completed,it will then re-fill with water.
Can anyone give some pointers as to the likely cause and are parts still available for this model?

Can you explain the problem a bit more? The machine is meant to refill with water three time after wash to rinse the clothes (sorry if that sounds obvious!).

We need to know what is happening – e.g.

After wash: –

Drain pump on
Spins out water
???

Hi Odom.
The way it was explained to me was this:
The machine will wash,then rinse cycle then spin as per usual,however,once it has stopped if you are not quick to remove the washed clothes,it will start another rinse cycle.

just a thought but does this model have a “rinse plus” button if so has this been set by mistake?

It’s an early digital machine – it more or less has to be a logic error, so you’ll need a power board – a snip at £249.81.

Thanks for your replies guys.
I did see a extra rinse button,so I will ask the in-laws if this is on.
If it is the power board as Penguin suggests,would it be worth fixing?
It was a reconditioned machine,bought as a stop-gap about 4 years ago.

There is an extra rinse button,but they don’t use it. So its off to that appliance showroom in the sky.
