KeymasterProblem: Machine occasionally will complete the cycle but invariably just continues to wash until it is stopped and the spin cycle is sellected.
Any quick fixes?
Thanks

First things first, have you gone through the trouble shooter guide in your instruction booklet for the machine ? i.e. checked for blocked filters, kinked hoses, water supply etc.
If so how long does it stay on for on say a colourfast 40 degree, wash as these machine do have long wash times.
Have you tried doing a maintinance wash at 90 degrees with the machine empty and a small amount of detergent to desludge the machine.
TRY these first

Sounds like you have selected “rinse hold” program to me.

Afraid no manual available. Have checked all the obvious filters, H&C inlet (both ends) and main pump inlet, all clear.40 degree wash would normally take approx 45 mins. Occasionally this works but we have had it running for hours without going into the rince/spin cycle. We have resorted to timing the wash period, stopping it and sellecting rince, it then completes the wask OK. The ‘rince hold’ button been tried and the acknowledge light switches on and off and has not been sellected.
We have done a 90 degree wash with a proprioty descaling compound with no apparent change.
Anything else we can try?
Thanks

Is it getting to the rinses, or sticking on wash?
What is it doing for hours when it sticks?

Machine appears to be stuck on the wash cycle and rotates/counter-rotates for as long as we let it?
