ParticipantOur Bosch WFL 2060 is about 10 years old.
Just recently clothes don’t seem to be drying as well as they have done.
The spin speed always stays at 1000, and as far as we are aware it seems to be spinning just as normal.
We normally use 40, sometimes 60 degrees wash.
But the clothes are just wet, not soaking but not as dry as they have been.
We can put then in again on spin only, and that does get them a bit dryer.
As regards to loading the machine, we have just done the same as we always have done.I’ve cleaned out the drain filter, there wasn’t really anything in it. I did notice that the pipe that leads to it, after sticking my little finger up it was gungie, so tried to clean it as best as I could.
The belt seems ok, but not cracked or anything, but not sure to replace it anyway as not too expensive.
I checked the drain pipe, poured some very hot water into it, back into the machine, some hard bits and gunge bits did come out from the pump, also back into the end of the drain pipe.
I wonder if you can clean the drain reservoir out at all, maybe there’s some blockadges in there?
Drum doesn’t seem to be loose, so assume bearings are ok.
So a bit of a loss, could it be the pump not working properly, or the motor not working properly, at a loss now.Any ideas much appreciated.

Moderatorsuugest as a start
fill up on a rinse programme with no washing. when its full switch to a spin programme and watch what happens. you looking how fast it drainspossible blockage in the hose from the drum to filter or up the drain hose

ParticipantWell problem solved, thanks Dave.
Tilted the machine to 45 degrees as said. (My wife was holding to it for some time!).
Disconected pipe from filter, and the other end big rubber bit that fixed onto bottom of drum. Not much gunge there, but cleaned it and the plastic ball was moving freely.
Managed to then disconnect the whole drain pipe assembley from the filter, including the drain reservoir to the very end. The drain reservoir had quite a bit of gunge in it.
The short black thin rubber pipe which runs from the drain reservoir to the top of the drum, was completely blocked. Managed to clear it, also where it goes into the top of the drum and where it goes into the drain reservoir.
Not sure what this pipe does, is it some kind of breather pipe?
Reconmected and done two washes and seems back to normal now, very relieved. So thanks again Dave.

ps. Would like to know what the short black pipe does though please.February 16, 2021 at 7:20 pm #475147electrofix
Moderatori think as you say its a breather to stop air locks. so if it was blocked the pump would get air locked and stop pumping
