Was trying to remove the filter cap, bottom right of washing machine and anyone with long nails knows that it is impossible (bit like trying to change the drive belt on a Dyson), so used some pliers and naturally broke it. I need a new cap – can anyone help and also is it called a filter cap?

    Hi

Save those nails get someone else to do it for you 😉 😆

It is indeed called a filter 😉

If you can locate the enr and fd numbers on the inside of the door and mail it to http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … =Help_Desk I`m sure Dave will be able to sort a replacement for you.

Does the cap unscrew easily ?

I ask because a lot a problems unscrewing are usually caused by the clients wife washing there bra`s in the m/c and resulting in the wires catching in the filter guards preventing the cap from unscrewing easily.

Re: Bosch WFL 2260 Filter Cap

I have a new filter cap for the above but I can’t get it off because I snapped the little handle using pliers to try and turn it and pull out. I have nothing to grip with, so obviously can’t turn it. Can someone advise the best way of trying to remove it, so I can put the new cap on. I lifted the machine and looked underneath, but obviously the filter slots into something else and don’t think I can get it out that way. Please help – water everywhere. Many thanks
