I have been advised by Bosch that my appliance requires new control panel however now that I have installed it I have no hot fill and no quick wash. Does anyone know what configuration of switches on the control panel is required to achieve this ? I have been supplied with Seimens 5WK51331 Control Panel. Please help – washing is piling up….

There should have been a coding sheet enclosed with the module.
Incorrect coding may damage the appliance.
Try contacting BSH to see if they will send you one as we cannot due to copyright, supply you with that information. (see Rules On Advice in the Public Forums no7) at the top of this forum.

    Hi Greg
Thanks for the quick response, they did send the sheet and unfortunatly it related to ten Bosch models (but the modles are’nt identified) plus numerous other makes. I called BSH and they said they could not tell me how to set the board for my machine.

Any thoughts other wise means a new machine?

you have two sets of switches and the paperwork asks questions like hot and cold fill and which make its even going into, the switches are on and off in reply to the questions, study it carefully it will make sense but do it before you blow it!

    p.s. unplug first!

The sheet will cover your machine, so you will need an engineer familiar with your make.
Pleae feel free to find a suitable engineer in your area from the repair@ link on the left if Kellands excellent info doesn’t make sense to you.

Sorry I can’t be of any more use 🙁
