My guess is that it’s a WFL2066GB/08 and that the Wash LED flashing usually indicates a door interlock problem? Also Heater open circuit another possibility?

Deffo not the heater.
As stated in the first post which you all read carefully didn’t you, :rolls: 😉 🙂 the lights that are flashing are ones above the wash PLUS & the Rinse PLUS option buttons, not the vertical row of programme follower lights.
Heater, motor, valves, pump, doorlock etc all appear OK.
It will not go into test mode, all that happens when you select any programme is those two lights flash rapidly. I suspect it may be the PCB. 😥
Unless you know different. 😉

If we had correct model number as the /?? is important :rolls: 😉 We could always blame Martin for the wrong info as he suggested it was an /08 😆
WFL2066GB/06 is different from the /08, so assume below 😉
Fault on this model would be indicated in display F0 etc.
I would now assume PCB fault if lamps are flashing. You have mail 😉

Wrong model number was my fault initially. It is definitely an /08.
I had posted WFL2006 in error but the 08 bit was right. 😳
I edited my original post. 😉
I have saved the /06 stuff for future use, thanks for that Greg.
So as this is an /08 version does it sound like a duff PCB? 🙂

The really sad bit about this is that this customer had a Hotpoint for over 15 years and still has the Hotpoint dryer of the same age.
Before I had a look at the machine she said my husband wants to get a new Bosch dryer when that goes, he likes the high quality German machines. :rolls:
This one is under 3 years old.
I will give her the bad news. 😥
Jim.
PS. Can you confirm that 438749 is correct part number.
