Bosch WFL2260 drain filter stuck

Hi, 1st time here. I’ve got a Bosch WFL2260/uk01. I’m trying to clean / unblock the drain pump filter. The blac cap unscrews ok but leaves the filter in the cavity. Has anybody got any suggestions on how to get it out? A last ditch solution I guess is buy a new filter assy (if possible) and cut the old one out?

Remove drum to pump hose and remove obstruction from pump inlet. Filter should then be removable.

Power off, of course.

If its the main filter body thats become detached, you can order one through spares@ – P/no – 601996 if its an Askoll pump or 172339 if its a Copreci. A quick look by taking front of appliance off and lookin at pump will confirm 🙂

I have this same problem. Can anyone tell me how I can remove the front as the screw doesn’t appear to be a “normal type” screw? Got piles of washing and can’t get anyone out to fix it!

The 3 screws are Torx20 (T20). 2 in bottom of front casing and the other one accessible when you pull soap drawer out and found at the 5 oclock position around dispenser aperture.

The best way to naff-up your washing machine without the knowledge or the correct tools is to bodge it yourself, and trying to access a pump on a Bosch WFL2260 is a prime example where it can go so badly wrong. 🙁

However I would seriously recommend you try our repair@ service to get this problem sorted with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience.
