Bosch WFL2260 not going through programs

Just brought my daughter a 2nd Bosch washing machine, gave it a test run and all seemed fine but now when selecting common programs the machine just sits there and makes a buzzing sound. If I select a different program like a 30° delicates it will wash but at the end of the cycle there will still be water in the drum.

remove filter and check not only the filter itself but get a torch and look where the filter came out. there is a white cross,which is the pump. Mske sure there is nothing in there jamming it as even an elastic band wrapped around it will stop it
