Bosch WFL2260 – Trips Electrics

Hi

I’ve got a vintage Bosch WFL2260 which I’ve had since April 1999. It had new motor brushes about 3-4 years ago.

Over the past few days it has been tripping the house electrics. Sometimes I can reset the electrics and it carries on working and other times it continually retrips.

This can be at the start of the cycle or before other points such as the spin cycle.

I took the covers off yesterday and looked for evidence of excessive carbon deposits but it looked fine apart from a bit of dust.

Can anyone help or does it look like a new one is finally needed?
