    Hello
I replaced the brushes on my Bosch WFL2462GB washing machine but it still would not spin. I decided to take the motor apart to see if it was the the thermal cut-out unit that was at fault. It was then that (idiot that I am) I saw one of the brushes was stuck in its housing and was thus not making contact. I reseated it and was about to put the motor back together when I noticed two washers that had dropped on the deck. One is white plastic and the other is sprung metal (i.e. it’s ‘crinkly’). I guess they sit side by side but which way round? I’ve looked all over the web, including the Bosch website, for an exploded diagram of the motor – but without any luck. Does anyone know where I might see one? Alternatively, can anyone explain to me in idiot-proof language where the washers go? I am running out of clean clothes.

There are no plastic washers or spring washers in the motor that I’m aware of.

i think that the washer goes next to the bearing to take up any movement
