Customer complaint of ready light coming on and will only finish the wash if they keep restarting the programme.
On testing, heater, thermistor etc seems ok, but the motor tested .3Meg. Took out the motor fitted brushes and gave it a good clean out, insulation back over 50Meg. Machine runs ok.

Customer has used it for two washes on 40 deg and it’s fine. Used it on a 60 and it does the same thing, 40deg wash again and fine. I’m thinking thermistor but are there any other known possibilities on this. Its one of my letting agents own machine and I’d talked them out of binning it originally .

Hmmmmm?….I’m thinking it could be a supply based problem in that the module has an internal fault and switches off (dodgy double pole switch unit on PCB maybe)?

I would certainly discount the NTC as I’ve never had an issue with those, however the heater on the other hand is also something to consider. Heaters, pumps and motor brushes the 3 main faults with this model.

Does the ready light come on once they try to start it or during a wash ?

If it has trouble starting , it may be an interlock problem ?

Ready light as a ‘fault’ code is door open detected .

From what they told me , the ready light comes on after about ten minutes each time. They press start and it goes again for a while 😕

I’ve had a heater cause this fault as well as the thermistor connector being corroded.

Only once mind, on each of the above.
