Called to the the above machine because the machine stops working and the ready light illuminates after 15 minutes.

The machine meters out OK and the resistance of the element is correct.

The machine fills to the correct level, washes and heats for a while. It’s not syphoning or bringing up any other error.

I have searched the forums and found a couple of other posts with the same fault but haven’t been able to find any solution.

I am leaning towards this being caused by the control board.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hmmmmm? That would be an expensive misjudgment if your “leaning” was wrong for sure.

When you mention that the resistance is OK do you also Megger the insulation resistance or is that what you meant? Any earth leakage would affect any programme to a point where it could shut down I suspect.

Finally, when quoting model numbers do please include the entire number including the all important suffix. 😉

Sorry Martin, I didn’t make it clear,
I meant I tested for earth leakage, always the first thing I would do when a machine has a strange fault like this.

Full model for this machine WFLI2440GB/10

If it were set to a rinse/freshen up cycle then would it complete OK?

I haven’t tried this, I will give it a try and see what happens.
