Bosch WFM 4030 Motor running but not spinning or pumping

Thr machine takes in water as part of the cycle but tries to go into spin cycle and can be seen and heard to try to start to turn but immediatly stops.When turned to F (extra spin) the same happens,You can here a clicking as though something is trying tomake contact and appears to be unsuccessful.Is it possibly the main programme board?

Sounds like the pump or filter. Usually on Bosch machines you can see the pump impeller when you remove the filter cap. If there is a small diameter hose next to the cap you can pull out some slack and use it to drain the machine before removing the cap.
